Bevelle, Chapter Two, just before fighting Baralai, it's in a chest that's on a rock that you can only get to, by finishing a "puzzle" with those "elevator" thingies

also in the same place in chapter 3 and 5 if you missed it in chapter two

I have my walkthrough guide right in front of me.

First, use either one of the side-facing transporters.
Ride the transporter down to the Labyrinth.
Go to the lower edge of the screen (do not climb up on the stone platform) and from there jump down. You will arrive back at the two remaining transporters.
Use the transporter in the middle and go up.
You will see a platform. Climb onto it to raise some platforms leading to a chest elsewhere. The transporter will take you back.
Use the other transporter and ride it down.
Go to the opposite side, (do not climb on to the stone platform) and use the transporter that you had used previously to go back up.
Use the transporter in the middle again.
Step onto the stone platform again to raise more platforms. When you have done that, take the transporter back down.
Ride the side-facing transporter back down.

You can now climb on to each of the two stone platforms to reveal a bridge across to the transporter. You can now reach the chest on the left, which contains the DARK NIGHT DRESSPHERE.

Hope this helps, I used it and got the Dark Night easily.
Its my favourite dressphere so it should be good for you

well i have to beat a very hard dragon thing because ive left it to chapter 5....ah fuck it il complete it then redo it on new game+

edit : tell you what would be usefull...for someone to start a topic with all the dress spheres and how to get them...

11-15-2005, 12:00 AM
Slash --- you don't have to wait till New Game Plus --- the Dark Knight dressphere should still be waiting for you in the Bevelle Underground. Rude666's info is absolutely correct and should still work for you.

I'm not sure what you mean about having to beat a very hard dragon thing --- you shouldn't have to fight anything at all to get the Dark Knight dressphere. Are you thinking of the Via Infinito? If so, those Elder Drakes can be avoided and that isn't where the Dark Knight dressphere is anyway. It's in the Bevelle Underground, not long before the area where you fight Bahamut.

P.S.: I might be up for starting a dressphere topic... yeah, I take dibs on that. It might be a little while before I can get it posted though.

yeah i no its in bevelle underground but i cant get behind the wall like i did before theres a stupid portal which takes me to via infinto

11-15-2005, 04:48 PM
You're going to wrong place. What you need is to take the main elevator down to the Underground, not the Via Infinito. Oh, and if the main elevator is taking you upstairs instead of down, then what you need to do is go to the room on the left and change the setting for it there. There's also a thing on the upper level that you can use to change it to direct mode before setting it to go down.

11-15-2005, 07:25 PM
i do go left but you no how the block falls through the wall then you climb through to change the settings?...well right below the gap is the portal and i cant get past try what you said about going up stairs though...but on a seperate note what do you get for doing via infinito?

11-15-2005, 07:31 PM
I'm really not sure what you're on about. All right, here's the deal, step-by-step. If you can't follow this, then I'm not sure how to help.

1. Get out of the Via Infinito if you're in it already.

2. You know the room with the save point and the portal to the Via Infinito? Get out of it.

3. You should now be in the main hall of the New Yevon Headquarters building. In the middle, there is transporter. Step onto it. If it takes you down, then skip to Step 5. If it takes you up, then its settings aren't correct. First, if it did take you up, go outside and look for another one that looks like it. Hit circle or X (I'm not sure which, I think X) and you'll get a message saying that the settings on the main lift have been changed to direct-mode.

4. Return down on the main transporter and now circle over to the room to the left. Follow the path and you should see a transporter on the left and on the right. Hit circle on one of those and it should save the settings on the main one.

5. The main one is good to go. If you used to go down, you should now be in the Bevelle Underground. Follow the same path you followed before when you went to go find Baralai and then fight Bahamut and the area you're looking for is just a bit before that part. Follow Rude666's instructions and you should be good to go.

when you complete the via infinito you get a tough boss and completion percentages, and thats about it. On your way down at cloisters 0 and 20 you get a crimson sphere (number 6 and 8 i think) and on cloister 40 you get some good treasure after beating another hard boss, but thats about it... i think

i think there's a thread about the via infinito around here somewhere, but i cant see it on the first page, so im not looking, but i found this guide ( helpful, even though i used my own strategies for most bosses

ok took me ages but i finaly got all i need is machine gunner then il have the dress spheres i want...i no its waaaaaaaaaay off topic but how do i get machine gunner?

11-15-2005, 09:35 PM
And I dont know what a machine gunner is.....BUT IM STILL THE MAIN MAN

11-15-2005, 11:32 PM
Sounds like Slash is referring to something translated from Japanese. I see this all the time. That's probably either Gun Mage or Alchemist.

11-15-2005, 11:33 PM
its alchemist i was just about to correct myself....while were on that topic how do i get the gun mage and achlemist dress sphere?

11-15-2005, 11:41 PM
gun mage-do the mission "shave the hypello" on the moonflow in chapter 1, or if you missed it in chapter 1, make a profit on the "YRP, the Scalpers three" misssion in chapter 2 in the moonflow again

alchemist-get clasko on the airship in chapter one, or two i think, then do the chocobo mission in chapter two on the mi'ihen highroad and save calli in time, then go back to the travel agency front and let clasko on the airship again and then drop him off at the calm lands in chapter 3 and complete the mission where you clear out the ruins (formerly the arena in X)

11-15-2005, 11:44 PM
wow the alchmist one sounds like alot of work....but wheres clasko?

11-16-2005, 12:00 AM
mushroom rock near the youth league HQ

and it can be as i think the chocobo mission needs to be played in a certain way to get the episode complete for the highroad in chapter 5 and implicate rikku in bustin the machina (not sure about this though)

11-16-2005, 03:11 AM
Slash --- sounds to me like Clasko is probably missing in action because you're in Chapter 5. You are in Chapter 5, aren't you? If you are, then it's already way too late if you never even got Clasko on the Celsius. You might have to wait until New Game Plus.

High Summoner Yuna

I got that dressphere in chapter 5 and I never had Clasko on the asirship or anything, I just found him at the arena thing and then killed the fiends and he gave it to me.

11-16-2005, 02:49 PM
You mean that Clasko will show up there even if you never talk to him? Did you complete Cuckoo for Chocobos in Chapter 2?

11-18-2005, 06:22 PM
I think i got it in chapter 3 cause i took himj up in chapter 2

It's long time since I've been writing here, so I just wanna say HALLO to eveybody again...HIYA
