This is the sixth draft of Ground Zero. It has been completely rewritten to fit criticizm by both peers and editors. This is the screenplay edition, copywrite protected, a piece I truly do intend on getting producded somewhere in the next five to six years.

I hope you enjoy.

EXT. BIOLOGICAL TESTING CENTER - NORTH KOREA - NIGHT/1987

Six soldiers wearing black camo, ski masks, and night vision goggles slowly crouch from the southern gates. One soldier pulls out a sniper rifle and shoots a korean soldier guarding the gates right in the head. The guard falls backwards on his back as blood forms from the back of his head.

The soldier runs to the body of the guard, and signals for the rest of the marines to enter the gates.

The soldier, DUFRANE HUMPHREY, (22) brown eyes and grey hair picks up the guards key card. The other five soldiers head to Humphreys position. Humphrey hands the key card to the captain of the soldiers.

CAPTAIN
Excellent work Humphrey, now keep an eye on the parimeter,
were moving in.

HUMPHREY
Yes sir.

The Captain, GENE SULLIVAN, (38) bald, teal eyes, and a 5 oclock shadow removes his ski mask and radios his commander.

SULLIVAN
(Into Radio)
Commander, the research center is in position, what is our
target?

COMMANDER (V.O)
Surveillance spotted several North Korean troops from this station
transporting commercially used isotopes and fissile material, the same
radioactive material found in nuclear warheads.

SULLIVAN
You want us to sniff around?

COMMANDER (V.O)
As discussed with President Gordon, the North Korean government
had been warned about black op projects, so neutralize any hostiles.
And if you find anything, notify us immediately.

SULLIVAN
Yes sir.

Captain Sullivan puts his radio back on his shoulder cuff and signals for the remaining five soldiers to head to his position.

The five sneak past the composite tower spotlight, and into the North Wing of the research center. Sullivan swipes the card on the key slot, as the red light on the slot turns green, allowing the four access.

INT. BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH CENTER NORTH WING - NORTH KOREA - NIGHT

The west wing is a bright room with no security. The marble floor is spotless, and the walls are concrete, painted white.

Once in, the five remove their masks and goggles, and aim their silenced M4 Carbines steady as they head forward.

One soldier approaches forward and presses his back against a wall right of a large hallway. The soldier, DANE CALLAWAY, (25) buzz cut short brown hair, clean shaven, wearing splitter camo, looks over his shoulder into the hallway and spots a camera scanning the area.

Callaway pulls out a silenced 9.mm and shoots the camera, as it sparks and dies down.

CALLAWAY
Were clear.

The four sneak down the hallway when Sullivan signals his team to halt.

CALLAWAY
Whats wrong, Captain?

SULLIVAN
We got company. Hunter, take care of him.

JOHN HUNTER, (24) short black hair, wears black face paint. He nods and sneaks to the right end of the hallway, where a Korean security guard wearing a black uniform and a bullet proof helmet, patrols the hallway.

Hunter creeps from behind him and pulls out a hunting knife as he jumps the guard, covering his mouth as he sticks his knife in his back.

HUNTER
Target has been neutralized sir.

Sullivan nods and signals his team to carry on.

INT. STORAGE CENTER - SOUTH KOREA - NIGHT

The five soldiers enter the dark massive storage center, and hide behind a massive crate.

SULLIVAN
Okay, Martins, you and I will investigate the eastern region of
the center, Callaway, Hunter, Rhoemer, you three check out the
western region of the center. If you find anything, radio me immediately.

ALL
Yes sir.

JOSEPH RHOEMER, (26) short blonde hair, wears thermal goggles and spots two enemy soldiers.

RHOEMER
Callaway, Hunter, we got company.

Callaway and Hunter sneak behind several shelves and creep behind the two soldiers. Along sneaking behind the soldiers, Hunter accidentally knocks over a can.

HUNTER
Shit...

The can falls over, catching one of the soldiers attention.

KOREAN SOLDIER ONE
◊∞տ∫ π˘˙∞?

The two soldiers check it out. Callaway grabs his gun and shoots the lights in the ceiling before they come. The two soldiers jump back and look around.

CALLAWAY
(Silently)
Stay in the shadows...

HUNTER & RHOEMER
(Silently)
Got it.

The two korean soldiers approach the three, suspiciously, they do a quick glance, Callaway takes his socom and fires twice in the first guard.

The second begins to fire at their position, the light of the fire reveals them.

One bullet pierces Hunters arm, and he doesnt even flinch. Hunter then fires his assault rifle, unloading dozens of bullets into the korean soldier.

CALLAWAY
Shit, you okay John?

HUNTER
Ah Im just fine.

RHOEMER
What the hell are you talking about? You got a damn
bullet in your arm.

HUNTER
When youve been shot as many times as me, in a sense...
you forget to feel.

Hunter puts on his night vision goggles and holds his knife steady. He stares down at his upper arm, and digs his knife in his arm. Rhoemer looks away, Callaway merely sighs.

CALLAWAY
You are one crazy son of a bitch John, you
know that?

HUNTER
Haha, thats what my last date told me.

RHOEMER
When was this? After you shot her in the arm?

CALLAWAY
(Snickering)
Joe, come on.

HUNTER
No, right after I gave her a ride on the H-train.

CALLAWAY
H-Train? Whatever bud, lets just keep looking around, shall we?

HUNTER
Bah, all work no play, hmm Dane? Thats why you have such a hard
time getting a date my man.

CALLAWAY
Oh shut up.

HUNTER
Thnk about it, youre like a damn robot around women and US, you
got ZERO sense of humor, you got no imagination....when it comes to
bed time, if you catch my drift, AND you-

Callaway interrupts him.

CALLAWAY
(Irritated)
AND Im about to knock your damn teeth in.

HUNTER
Aha! See? Right there. That right there. Lighten up Dane, youre like my
fifth grade teacher. Shit, Im surprised youre not carrying a ruler on you,
THATD shut us all up, wouldnt it?

Callaway rolls his eyes and stares back at Rhoemer.

CALLAWAY
Joe, come on, back me up.

RHOEMER
I dont know, Dane, Im a year older then you, and youre as strict as a
damn nun.

CALLAWAY
Im not that strict, or serious, I can have fun too...hey, what the hell are
we doing here? Come on, stop wasting time and continue searching around
the storage chambers. Theres a time for jokes, and theres a time for work,
now come on and keep looking around, shit.

Callaway, fuming, puts his night vision goggles back on and continues to search around the area. Hunter and Rhoemer laugh amongst themsevlves and continue to investigate.

EXT. BIOLOGICAL TESTING CENTER - NORTH KOREA - NIGHT

Humphrey continues to patrol the area, growing impatient.

HUMPHREY
(To himself)
Damn, whats taking the guys so long?

Humphrey looks around once more, spots all the soldiers hes taken out, and nods.

HUMPHREY
(To himself)
Screw it, Im heading in.

Humphrey wraps the strap of his sniper rifle around his shoulder, and runs towards the research center. He then stops at the sight of a lone soldier, wearing a black beret and a black uniform approaching the restricted zone of the center.

Humphrey sneaks behind him as the soldier slides his card into the card slot. The red light turns green as the red blast door opens automatic for him. As he steps inside the building, Humphrey grabs him by the back of the head, and slams his face right into the metal blast door, knocking him out cold.

Once unconscience, Humphrey drags his body outside of the restricted zone, and takes his card key.

HUMPHREY
You wont be needing this anymore, now will ya big fella?

He walks through the door and swaps the card once, locking the blast doors behind him.

INT. RESTRICTED ZONE- NORTH KOREA - NIGHT

Humphrey takes off his ski mask and removes his night vision goggles as he slowly wanders into a massive black hallway.

HUMPHREY
(To himself)
Jeez, sure is creepy round here.

Humphrey steps deeper into the dark hallway, once his foot makes contact with the steel hallway, a bright green light illuminates row after row after row of massive cryo cyllinders.

Inside the cyllinders lie what appear to be humans, all plugged into steel rods and tubes, all lifelessly floating naked inside their tubes.

HUMPHREY
(Horrified)
Mother of God....

Humphrey, jaw and eyes wide open, slowly approaches a single cyllinder to his right. He stares at the subject inside.

The subjects arm looks to be of metal, his face, a silver skull with black eyes and red pupils.

Disgusted, Humphrey places his hand over his mouth, and steps backwards, hitting another cyllinder. He screams, and jumps back as he spots, from within the cyllinder behind him, another bizarre looking human.

His entire body has several metal pikes piercing through his skin. His face, identical to the subject behind him.

HUMPHREY
(To himself)
What in Gods name IS this place?!

MARTINS (V.O)
THIS, my friend, is our Genetic test subject holding chambers.

JAKE MARTINS, (31) short black hair, Porteguese, wearing identical gear to Humphrey, approaches him from the end of the hall.

HUMPHREY
(Confused)
Martins? What the hell is all this about?!

MARTINS
Oh, nothing you should trouble your little mind with.

Humphrey, now nervious, slowly reaching for his handgun while facing Martins as he cautiously steps back.

As he steps back, he bumps into another person, he immediately turns around and spots running into Captain Sullivan standing behind him.

HUMPHREY
Captain?! What the hells going on here?!

SULLIVAN
Dufrane, Dufrane, Dufrane...

HUMPHREY
Sir, please, what the hell is going on?!

SULLIVAN
Humphrey, have you ever been to the hospital? Youre familiar with the new
born center of a hospital, correct?

HUMPHREY
(Nervious)
Y-yeah, I was there when my son was born.

SULLIVAN
Well, this, is just like the new born center. We are giving birth to
beautiful creatures here, just like God does with infants. These
people however, are simply....enhanced. The perfect soldiers, ruthless,
powerful, and unlike regular soldiers, able to follow orders.

Humphrey steps backwards, still with his eyessteady at Sullivan as Martins slowly approaches Humphrey from behind.

HUMPHREY
This isnt a soldier, or a beauty, all these THINGS can be called, are
monsters!

SULLIVAN
Son, be realistic, what really differentiates them from us?

HUMPHREY
Well, the spikes for one.

SULLIVAN
Appearances are one thing son, but in the end, what really differentiates you from
them? Youre both soldiers, your missions are to kill, and like good soldiers,
you follow those orders.

HUMPHREY
No, not like that, Sullivan. These things are unholy. Theyre like demons!
And YOU created them!

SULLIVAN
Demon or not, at least THEY can follow orders.

Martins pulls, from his utility belt, his hunting knife, but Sullivan holds his palm up towards Martins, signalling him to cease.

SULLIVAN
Son, do you know why its a captains duty to give out orders to his men
to begin with? Because a captain knows what is best for our men. A captain
knows his orders will keep his men alive. Because when soldiers dont follow
orders, they get hurt.

Sullivan nods in disappointment and pulls out a silenced 9.mm.

HUMPHREY
(Frightened tone)
No, no-sir please, Im begging you, dont do this...

SULLIVAN
Sorry son, but I told you to stay on watch outside, we couldve been done,
and all six of us couldve gone home....you shouldve stayed outside....

HUMPHREY
No, sir, please dont...

Humphrey, frozen with fear, holds his hands towards Sullivan begging him to cease, but Sullivan holds his gun steady, and fires three bullets in Humphreys chest, sending him down on the steel hallway floor on his back dead.

Martins walks over Humphreys body, and approaches Sullivan, irritated.

MARTINS
Nice going, I told you we shouldnt have left the kid on his own.

SULLIVAN
What does it matter? Hes dead now. No one else knows about this place,
and I intend on keeping it that way.

MARTINS
Fine, but youre gonna raise the question of what happened to Humphrey
pretty soon. What do you got planned then?

SULLIVAN
Oh, Im not worried about that. Ill just say you shot him.

MARTINS
I shot him?! What the fuck are you talkn ab-

Cutting him off, Sullivan quickly raises his gun steady and fires once in Martins forehead, sending him down on the ground, eyes wide open.

Sullivan then reaches in Humphreys holster, and removes his 9.mm and inserts it near his hand as he reaches into Martins holster and does the same.

Sullivan then deactivates the lights of the cryo hall when his radio suddenly goes off.

ANONYMOUS VOICE (V.O)
Sullivan, report. How is the operation coming along?

SULLIVAN
(Into radio)
Just as you planned. Unfortunately one of my men discovered the GES subject
chambers. Hes been dealt with, but I had to eliminate Agent Martins to do so.

ANONYMOUS VOICE (V.O)
What? Why?

SULLIVAN
(Into radio)
Because no one else was in the area, all I have to do is activate our security
protocol within this sector, and itll just look like a dark hallway. I can say the
two mistook one another for enemies, and both opened fire at one another.

ANONYMOUS VOICE (V.O)
You do understand if they grow suspicious of you, that you will receive no aide
from us, do you not?

SULLIVAN
(Into radio)
Yes sir, Im not worried, have Lieutenant Zhou lower security around this place,
I need my boys to head out of here ASAP.

ANONYMOUS VOICE (V.O)
Very well, as long as the plutonium, isotops, or other cryogentic materials are
undetected, it shouldnt be a problem.

SULLIVAN
(Into radio)
It wont be.

Sullivan then puts his radio back in his shoulder cuff and activates the security protocol for the restricted section. Two massive steel walls shut down in front of the cryogentic chambers, leaving only the hall, as two red lights illuminate the sector.

Sullivans radio goes off once more.

CALLAWAY (V.O)
Sir, weve detected no signs of nuclear materials in the area, were heading back
to the exterior corridors.

SULLIVAN
(Into radio)
Understood.

EXT. BIOLOGICAL TESTING CENTER - NORTH KOREA - NIGHT

Three hours have pasted since the mission began, Callaway, Hunter and Rhoemer all stand outside of the research center, waiting for the others.

Hunter stares back at Callaway, who is still upset.

HUNTER
*sigh* Look, Dane, you know we were just joking with you back
there, but you gotta admit, you can be a tightass.

CALLAWAY
I know that, but its just how I am, what do you want from me?

Hunter rolls his eyes

HUNTER
Dane, what the hell do you THINK I want?

CALLAWAY
Yeah, yeah, for me to be more easy going, well its not that easy for me.
John...Ive been through enough in my lifetime that whatever part of me
was seen as remotely easy going has died. I...Im just not that kind of guy
anymore. Especially after what happened back in 79.

Callaway stares up at the stars and back down at Hunter, nodding his head in shame.

CALLAWAY
Some people just dont heal as fast as you, John.

HUNTER
I know, youre only human, right? But do you think your folks
would just want you to soak about what happened for the rest
of your life? Or do you think theyd want you to move on.

CALLAWAY
Well considering theyre dead, it kind of makes it hard to know
now doesnt it?

HUNTER
Dane, come on, Im your friend, trust me when I tell you this. Youve done
more then what you could do, its time you just move on. Youre only 25, you
can still live a little, I mean past the army, past the bars, you know what Im
talking about right?

CALLAWAY
Whats wrong with the bars?

HUNTER
Dane.

CALLAWAY
Ha, I gotcha...you know something John, for a guy who
takes a bullet to the arm with a smile on his face, you sure
are one wise fella.

HUNTER
Thats what my last date told me.

RHOEMER
When was that, after-

CALLAWAY
Oh shut up Joe.

The three start to laugh when Sullivan is seen running towards them from the research center.

SULLIVAN
Okay, we ready to head on home and-wait, wheres Humphrey?

CALLAWAY
Wasnt he with you?

SULLIVAN
No, Martins was with me.

HUNTER
And where is Martins?

Sullivan stares back at Hunter funny, as if to say, Hey, where IS Martins? Suddenly Sullivan wipes some sweat from his forehead and looks around.

SULLIVAN
Shit, come on men, we gotta go find them, now.

ALL
Yes sir.

The three head back to the research center, but Rhoemer stops while running and stares back at Sullivan.

Sullivan nods, Rhoemer immediately understands what happened, and nods back as he quickly catches up with Callaway and Hunter. Sullivan rubs his chin and heads back to the research center to aide in searching for Martins and Humphrey.

EXT. HARBOR - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

Two soldiers wearing urban camouflage give out the clear signal as two military cargo trucks drive slowly from the harbor to the surface of a SEAL frater.

The first soldier, NATHAN IRWIN, (25) wears a bullet proof helmet, urban camo, armed with an M16 w/Frag approaches the other soldier.

IRWIN
Okay, are we clear now?

SOLDIER ONE
We should be. Go talk to Captain Hopper and tell him
were ready to head home.

IRWIN
Okay.

INT. HARBOR BASE - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

CAPTAIN SHAWN HOPPER, (28) very fit, sporting aviators, a black beret, tiger stripe camo, a black kevlar vest, and black gloves exits his office and heads down the hall when his radio goes off.

IRWIN (V.O)
Captain Hopper, the warheads have been successfully
transported into the frater with no problem at all.

HOPPER
Excellent. Have the troops board the frater immediately, Ill
be heading outside in ten minutes.

IRWIN (V.O)
Copy that sir. Ill alert them at-

Suddenly, the sound of the soldiers voice is cut off with massive static interferrence. Hopper takes his radio off of his shoulder, and waves it around as he continues to attempt to speak to the soldier.

HOPPER
Come in, Irwin, repeat, come in.

EXT. HARBOR - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

IRWIN
Sir? Come in. I cant hear you. Come in.

Irwin takes his radio and begins to smack it on the side hoping to get a signal. Nothing.

IRWIN
Oh Fan-freaking-tastic, another broken signal?
God I hate this base.

Irwin then attempts to wander over to another section of the harbor as the rest of the soldiers all load their gear into the frater.

INT. HARBOR BASE - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

Hopper continues to try and contact the soldier before eventually just giving up and putting his radio back in the holster cuff on his left shoulder.

He then exits the base and heads towards his comrades, when suddenly he stops dead in his tracks. Hopper stares down at his stomach, now pierced with a crossbolt as he falls to his knees with blood beginning to trickle out of his mouth. He makes a small attempt to radio for backup when suddenly a second crossbolt is fired clear through Hoppers neck. The force of the crossbolt knocks his aviators right off of his face as he falls to the ground dead. His aviators soon follow, shattering on impact to the concrete floor.

Suddenly a man wielding a crossbow drops from the roof of the base, landing on all four before slowly rising to his feet and walking towards Hoppers body.

The man, JOHN HUNTER, (30) short black hair, caucasian, a scar over his right eye, wearing a dark green uniform, with steel shoulderpads, a thick black kevlar vest, long sleeved leather gloves, baggy dark green pants with steel kneepads and long sneaking boots, picks up Hoppers radio which finally regains a signal.

IRWIN (V.O)
(Impatiently)
Captain. Do you read me? Captain! The men are boarding
the frater. You need to come here now.

But Hunter merely chuckles as he drops his radio back on Hoppers body and heads to the harbor.

EXT. HARBOR - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

The first soldier continues to try and radio his commander but still cant get a feed. So he merely gives up and puts his radio down when suddenly private OMalley comes running towards him. PETER OMALLEY, (24) Irish, around 58ft, wearing urban camo, a bullet proof helmet, armed with an M16 comes running towards the soldier seeming to be frightened.

OMALLEY
(Out of breath.)
Quickly! Get the captain! We found a body!! I...I think its Beck!

IRWIN
What? Are you sure?!

OMALLEY
N-no....I cant tell anymore! Just go get him and come on!

Soldier one runs to the base while OMalley runs back to the bridge to see more of his comrades dead on the floor.

OMALLEY
Ohh....fuck me.....fuck me!!

OMalley examines the bodies and finds that each soldier had at least three of four small knives lodged in their bodies. Frightened by the sight of his dead comrades, OMalley slowly backs away holding his M16 tightly until he backs into what felt like solid steel. But as he turned around, he sees a massive hulk of a man standing at 74ft waiting behind him, carrying a massive hunting knife covered in blood.

OMALLEY
Sweet Jesus!!!

The man, ARMOND OROURKE, (34) extremely muscular, wearing a green beret, a tight black short sleeved shirt, a black vest, German camouflage baggy pants, with military boots, black knee pads and fingerless gloves, begins to slowly approach OMalley .

Wasting no time, OMalley steps back and unloads a full clip into Orourkes body. The bullets deflected all off of Orourkes body from face to chest. And not a single bullet pierced through his body. It is as if OMalley is shooting steel.

OMALLEY
(Frightened)
What the hell are you?!

And right before OMalley can get another word in edge wise, Orourke sticks his hunting knife right in the center of OMalleys throat, only to rip it right out of his neck horizontally to the right as blood begin to pour out of OMalleys torn open throat. OMalley then falls face first to the floor in a pool of his own blood.

EXT. HARBOR BASE - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

The soldier continued to search for his captain, only to find blood splattered all over the walls of the small harbor base.

IRWIN
What in the world?

The soldier was about to examine the blood, when suddenly his radio goes off.

HOPPER (V.O)
Head back to the base, I found another body here. At least...I
THINK its a body, I cant tell....

IRWIN
(Confused)
Captain?! Why havent you been answering your radio?
Weve got a man down back here.

HOPPER (V.O)
And we have a body here too! So get over here
now!

Confused, but obedient, Irwin heads towards his captains position. He ran as fast as he could only to find at the back of the base the smoldering ashes of an unidentifiable object.

IRWIN
My God, its just like Beck, what the hells going on?

HOPPER (V.O)
Lets just say we have a bit of a siege going on, and Id like
to thank you deeply for your cooperation.

IRWIN
(Confused)
What are you talking about?

Irwin then looked up startled by what he had heard, only to find that the man talking to him, was not Captain Hopper. But was instead a heavily armored being, wearing steel body armor fitted with a plasma cannon attached to his right arm, with the calibur smoking. On his helmet, only his eyes could be seen. His eyes were red and his calibur began to glow light blue as a blue visor slammed shut on his face.

IRWIN
(Voice trembling)
Good Lord....

ARSENAL
(Turning off voice box)
He cant help you....

Arsenal slowly raises his right arm at Irwin, and fires one massive plasma beam straight into Irwins body. A massive white light begins to cover Irwins entire body as he screams at the top of his lungs. The beam continues to fire right into the soldier before going through his body, and straight into the walls of the base. Arsenal then deactivates his cannon, revealing the incinerated ashes of what was once Irwin.

HUNTER (V.O)
Are you finished up over there?

ARSENAL
Almost sir, Serpent and Decimator are still busy
with the rest of the soldiers here. Orourkes taking
care of the soldiers inside the frater.

HUNTER (V.O)
Excellent. Just hurry it up there.

ARSENAL
Yes sir.

EXT. HARBOR - CENTRAL AMERICA - MORNING

Dozens of soldiers finally begin to hear the attack occuring and waste no time in running off of the frater and back to the Harbor, detecting the bodies of their comrades mutilated. Nineteen soldiers all armed with M16s run to the center of the Harbor and see Hunter in the middle of the slaughter swirling his crossbow by the trigger in his hand.

The soldiers then surround him, all aiming their rifles ready to unload massive payloads of bullets into him. While they yell for him to freeze however, he merely chuckles twirling his crossbow with his finger.

SOLDIER ONE
Get down now!

HUNTER
(Amused)
Hmm....uhh...no, sorry, I dont think Ill be getting down.
See, Ive got this really bad cramp, and besides, the floor
is filthy! Look at it, all covered with the blood of your
comrades. Im sure youll understand.

SOLDIER TWO
You son of a bitch. Shoot him!

The soldiers all aim their rifles steady at Hunter, but for some reason do not fire.

SOLDIER THREE
What the hell?!

SOLDIER FOUR
SHOOT HIM!

They all try to shoot, but are immobilized as a single being from behind, DECIMATOR, wearing a strange reinforced biohazard suit, with dozens of tubes connected to his body leading to an oxygen tank on his back. His body was glowing a green radioactive like glow, and his hands were pointing towards the soldiers. The closer he approached, the tighter they were frozen.

One of the soldiers tried looking down but was unable to move one bit as his skin began to boil. They all began to scream as their skin burned more and more.

HUNTER
This is my favorite part....

And in a single flash, all nineteen of the soldiers were engulfed in the flames of the radioactive heat caused from the being.

SOLDIER FIVE
You son of a bitch!

Enraged and clear from Decimators field, one final soldier ran out armed with an M16 equipped with frag attachments runs straight for Hunter and fires a frag grenade straight at Hunter. But as the grenade goes off, Hunter back flips once and fires his crossbow midway through as a single crossbolt pierces the soldiers neck. His body falls backwards as he fires his assault rifle upon falling down.

INT. ARMY FRATER - BASE HARBOR - ATLANTIC OCEAN - MORNING

Six soldiers run in the main hall where Orourke resides as they fire their assault rifles at his body, but like before, the bullets merely deflected right off of his body.

They continued to fire their weapons and whatever they had on them at Orourke, when suddenly Serpent, a soldier wearing a ski mask covering all but his glowing red eyes and massive snake-like tongue, a cargo vest fitted with dozens of knives, baggy dark green sleeves and pants, wrapped around his arms and thighs were knife holsters fitted with dozens of knives each runs straight at at the soldiers firing their rifles, jumping straight into the line up of fire, deflecting each bullet with his knives.

SOLDIER SIX
What the hell are these freaks?!

SOLDIER SEVEN
(Frightened)
Screw this!! I dont want to die! Im outta here!

SOLDIER SIX
No wait!

But the soldier refused to listen, instead he ran as fast as he could in the other direction of the battle when he was suddenly cut short with Serpent tossing a knife straight in the back of his neck, sending him straight to the floor while the other soldiers continued to fire their rifles.

SERPENT
Why do you continue to fight when
you know you cant win?

SOLDIER EIGHT
Because monsters never win. Now die!

The soldier tossed his rifle down and grabbed his hunting knife as he ran straight for Serpent. He attempted to strike, but Serpent caught his wrist, and slowly held his wrist up, lifting the soldiers feet off of the ground.

SERPENT
Hmm? You like to play with knives?
Good news, so do I. Lets play shall we?

Serpent quickly tossed a single knife out of his vest, and caught it instantly as he made a single hack at the soldiers wrist, dropping his entire body to the ground while Serpent held the soldiers decapitated wrist steady.

He then tossed his wrist to the ground as he flicked his hand once at the soldier, tossing five knifes in the soldiers chest while Orourke grabbed a WP grenade from his vest and tossed it straight at the remaining four soldiers while Serpent jumped backwards and tossed a single knife into the WP, setting it off right in front of the soldiers before they could run off, setting them all on fire while Orourke radioed back to Hunter.

OROURKE
(In thick Australian accent)
Were all clear here.

HUNTER (V.O)
Excellent, take control of the navigation center, and
take the frater to the base. The rest of usll
be on by then.

OROURKE
Copy that sir.

INT. WASHINGTON D.C. - CITY HALL- NIGHT

City Hall is filled with reporters and newscasters, all with their cameras pointed directly at the podium, all awaiting the President of the United States, Bill Gordan But instead, Commander PRESTON JAY STYLES, (53) Grey hair and beard, wearing a dark green Marine Commander uniform fitted with two purple hearts approaches the podium.

STYLES
(Clears throat)
Hello, I would first off, like to thank you all for your tremendous patience
I understand you have all been very patient, but unfortunately,
the President was unable to attend this press conferrence.
Therefore, I will take his place.

Styles looks up for a minute into the bright spotlight pointing at him and speaks again.

STYLES
My name is Preston Jay Styles,
the Presidents’ military advisor. Tonight, I will be addressing
all of your questions.

SIMMONS
Commander Styles! Commander Styles! My name is Darren
Simmons, from FOX News, would you care to explain why
the country has been placed under terrorist alert red? Or
better yet, why the President has yet to publically address
why we should be fearing for our lives right now?

STYLES
Understandable, well, approximately two days and 14 hours ago,
a group of terrorists hijacked two nuclear warheads as they were
being transferred from Central America to the United States. The
nuclear warheads are indeed active, and the possibility of the terrorists
actually using them against the United States has become a very real
possibility.

SIMMONS
Then why is it that the President had yet to tell us that?

STYLES
Because it is the Presidents’ duty to keep a sense of security over the
country. If he were to tell you the truth, then that security would be broken.

GARCIA
Excuse me, Commander Styles? Hello, Andrew Garcia, with NBC News,
if he wants to keep a sense of security in the country, then why has he sent
you to tell us now of all times?

STYLES
I’m afraid that I am not completely clear on details sir. President Gordon
will be addressing this issue in due time. At the moment, he is meeting with
his Defense Committee at the moment, discussing how to deal with the terrorists.

SIMMONS

Excuse me, but I highly doubt that the President of the United
States would refuse to brief his MILITARY ADVISOR sir.

STYLES
I understand where you’re coming from, but please try to
understand, this is a very deligate matter.
President Gordon has to handle the deals with Congress
before he can brief me in.

As Styles could finish addressing all he was supposed to address to the public, a younger man, JOSEPH RHOEMER, (32) wearing a black coat, short blonde hair, and tosses a cigarette out of his mouth, enters City Hall by the entrance and jestures for Styles to get off the stage. Styles naturally understands, and cuts the meeting short.

STYLES
I’m sorry, but I can answer no more further questions
at the moment. But do not worry, President Gordon will be
making addressing the matter tonight at 10:00pm.

EXT. D.C. CITY HALL - NIGHT

Styles then exited from the stage, and walked down to the exit to greet the man, with the media hounding him like a pack of hungry jackals the entire way, bombarding
Styles with more trivial questions, but he merely walked passed the press and entered a black limo outside of City Hall

Cameras flash from all angles, dozens of reporters continue to throw their questions at the silent Styles.

REPORTER ONE
Commander Styles! What about the terrorists?

REPORTER TWO
Commander Styles! What about the warheads?

SIMMONS
Do the terrorists have any demands sir?

STYLES
I already told you all, I’m not entirely clear
on the details of this matter. Wait until 10:00pm
for your answers.

Styles then entered the limo with Rhoemer. The media was still almost surrounding the limo, but it didn’t matter, the limo drove off, leaving the the media in the distance. Styles then looks past the rear windshield, and sighs with relief.

Inside the limo, sat Styles, Rhoemer, and a young man, JOHN REYNOLDS, (27) short brown hair, a white long sleeved dress shirt with the sleeves pulled up, a red tie with black pants and shoes, next to Reynolds is a black portfolio, which he hands to Styles.

REYNOLDS
How did the conferrence go?

STYLES
I think it went well.

RHOEMER
If you can call that “going well,” then there’s something
wrong with you.

STYLES
(Eyes focused on files and not Rhoemer.)
Oh be quiet, I don’t see you meeting with the press. So
until then, you can go to hell.

REYNOLDS
President Gordon says he’s deploying the troops tonight.

STYLES
(Ignoring what Reynolds is saying.)
85 soldiers? The terrorists killed 85 soldiers when they hijacked
the warheads?!

REYNOLDS
That’s what the files say. We’re still waiting for the Central American
surveillance crew to send us the surveillance video recorded during
the attack.

STYLES
How many terrorists were involved? These were 85 highly trained soldiers,
I want to know how many terrorists it took to kill them all.

RHOEMER
We won’t know for sure until we get the film.

STYLES
Dammit.

Styles, now growing more concerned then before, hands Reynolds his files
and holds his chin with thought of the attack nodding his head.

RHOEMER
How far are we from the Pentagon

REYNOLDS
Around 5 minutes away by now.

RHOEMER
So, who are we sending to Brazil?

REYNOLDS
(Pulls out files.)
For this recon mission, we’re sending around 20 of the countries
finest Marines to Brazil.

RHOEMER
Any familiar faces?

REYNOLDS
Oh yeah, you should actually know all of them, Joe.
You’ve trained with most of them back in your military days.

RHOEMER
Really?

REYNOLDS
Yeah, Grey, Wallace, Markinson, Callaway-

RHOEMER
(Cutting Reynolds off.)
Dane Callaway? We’re sending Dane on this one?

STYLES
I got Callaway for this one personally.

RHOEMER
Excellent, maybe we have a shot then.

REYNOLDS
Maybe....

EXT. PENTAGON - WASHINGTON D.C. DEFENSE COMMAND - NIGHT

The limo then reaches its’ destination as the three men head for the Pentagon. Two armed soldiers spot them and instantly greet them.

SOLDIER ONE
(Saluting Styles)
Sir!

STYLES
At ease son. Could you please tell me where President Gordon
wanted me to go?

SOLDIER TWO
The Marines are waiting for you in sector B’s briefing
quarters.

STYLES
Thank you.

INT. PENTAGON - SECTOR B BRIEFING QUARTERS

STYLES
Gentlemen, as I’m sure you are all already aware of what
has occured, I’ll cut right to the chase. These terrorists are
armed with two nuclear warheads, that, if both are fired,
can successfully wipe out almost half of this great nation.
The terrorists are located on a southern island off the coast
of Brazil known as Colares. Your mission is to infiltrate this
island, and disarm the terrorists by any means necessary in
order to prevent this nuclear strike.

RHOEMER
Understand this, these terrorists aren’t the everyday guerillas
you’ve come across during your recon missions. They’re highly trained
ruthless killers. They’ve already managed to kill off 85 U.S. army officials
in Central America. Our entire base was destroyed, and there wasn’t a single
survivor. So do NO get careless boys.

MARINES
(All)
Sir yes sir!

STYLES
Alpha Team shall consist of the following marines. Captain Dane
Callaway, Lieutenant Ryan Grey, Major John Wright, Sergeant Johnny
Markinson, radioman Corporal Michael Wallace, demolitions Jack Miller,
surveillance Evan Lee and Andre Sanchez, and privates Tyrese Lashley and
Alan Paige.

RHOEMER
And Bravo shall consist of Captain Brad Locke, Lieutenant Glenn Barnes,
Major Bruce Connelly, Sergeant Burt McNeil, radioman Daniel Kress,
demolitions Mark Kane, surveillance Saiid Adoni and Carlo Santini
and finally privates Jordan Stevens and Albert Betters.

STYLES
You’ll be heading to Colares momentarally via chopper. Remember, it’s important
that none of you are detected along the way since that may increase the chances
of the terrorists launching the nukes. Is that clear?

MARINES
(All)
Sir yes sir!

STYLES
Excellent, now head to the helipads, we’ll deploy you from there.
Wallace, Kress, when you need to radio your comrades, use frequency
A, and when you need to radio HQ, enter frequency B.

WALLACE & KRESS
(At the same time.)
Yes sir.

EXT. PENTAGON SECTOR M. - HELIPADS - NIGHT

Two massive military carrier choppers begin to spin their propellors as Alpha and Bravo head into both carriers which begin to fly to Brazil.

EXT. ATLANTIC OCEAN - 5 MINUTES FROM COLARES - DAWN

Within each helicopter, the men inside are all very familiar with one another, discussing current events in their lives. In the Alpha Team chopper, Callaway and Grey stand towards the front of the chopper discussing the layouts of Colares. DANE CALLAWAY, (31) buzzcut short brown hair, brown eyes, a five o’clock shadow, a husky muscular man standing at 6’2 wearing urban camouflage and woodland camo kevlar, black gloves hands Grey a cigarette.

CALLAWAY
Need a light?

GREY
Yeah, thanks.

RYAN GREY, (30) green eyes, a light goatee short black hair wearing an urban camouflage bandanna, brownish olive drab short sleeve shirt with urban camo kevlar and pants, black fingerless gloves lights his cigarette and continues to read the map.

GREY
Insersion point Alpha should be around 3 minutes away near
the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, deeper in the Colares jungle.

CALLAWAY
And Bravo should be half a mile away from the coast. No SAM sights have
been detected by surveillance, so we should be in for a smooth ride, right Ryan?

GREY
Pretty much.

CALLAWAY
Excellent.

GREY
So, you ready for this one?

CALLAWAY
Always bud.

GREY
Hahaha, glad to hear it.

Meanwhile, the others in the back are talking and laughing amongst themselves. Johnny Markinson, Tyrese Lashley and Michael Wallace start talking with one another, talking about what they all have planned after this mission.

MARKINSON
So Mike, what do you got planned after this?

WALLACE
Oh man, once we get home, I’m heading straight to my
lady, I’m gonna take her to the Ritz, go to the beach, and
I’m gonna give her this...

MICHAEL WALLACE, (28) a black male, short black hair with the sides shaved, a mustache, wearing olive drab camouflage, a baige vest, and fingerless gloves, opens his
pocket and hands Markinson a small black box with a diamond ring inside.

MARKINSON
Good God man! How much did this set you back?

WALLACE
Too much. Haha, it doesn’t matter, I love her man.

LASHLEY
That’s beautiful man.

WALLACE
Thanks. What about you?

LASHLEY
Well, once I get home, I'ma head home, go to my woman, taker her down to a nice steak dinner, and really show her a nice time, if ya know what I mean....eh?

MARKINSON
What, thirty seconds?

LASHLEY
Fuck you dude.

MARKINSON
Hahahaha.

PILOT (V.O)
Insersion point reached captain.

CALLAWAY
Copy that. Meet us here when the mission's over, understand?

PILOT (V.O)
Copy that sir.

Callaway and Grey then open the sliding doors, and drops ten zip lines as the marines drop out of the carrier one by one. Once all ten of the marines reach the jungle, Callaway signals for the pilot to take off.

INT. COLARES - BRAZILIAN ISLAND - MORNING

The jungle was vast and exhotic. The grey sky could barely be seen through the massive vine covered trees. The ground was covered in grass, vines, and bushes. The sounds of jungle birds and animals could be heard from all points in between. Sadly, this entire jungle is home to the terrorists, and is home to two nuclear warheads.

CALLAWAY
We should see Bravo team any minute now, so for
now, lets just go north where the terrorist base is located.

EXT. GUERLLIA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - MORNING

Callaway and his comrades slowly approach onword north down a dirt trail, when suddenly Evan signals his team to stop.

LEE
Hold up!

CALLAWAY
Lee, whats up?

LEE
We got hostiles.

EVAN LEE, (23) Asian, around 510, wearing tiger stripe camo and woodland face paint along with a tiger stripe marine cap crawls down in the bushes and uses his scope to investigate.

LEE
I see around 10, all armed with AKs and Machetes.

CALLAWAY
Hmm....Styles said there wouldnt be any guerillas on this island...

LEE
Surveillance probably missed them.

CALLAWAY
Good point.

WALLACE
Well, odds are these guys wont just let us roll through now,
will they?

CALLAWAY
I wish....sattle up boys, looks like we got some action ahead of us.

GREY
Dane, what about Bravo?

CALLAWAY
Hmm....their choppers probably dropped them off by now.
Mike, radio Kress and find out what their position is
at the moment.

WALLACE
You got it, Dane.

INT. INSERSION POINT B. - COLARES - MORNING

Bravo Team heads deep into the Colares jungle when Kress radio goes off.

WALLACE (V.O)
This is Wallace, do you read me Kress?

KRESS
Loud and clear, Wallace.

WALLACE (V.O)
Where is your current location?

KRESS
Weve reached a few yards past our insersion point.

WALLACE (V.O)
Alright, have you spotted a guerilla base yet?

KRESS
Guerilla base? No, if you have, then youve taken
a different trail from us.

WALLACE (V.O)
I know that, I was just wondering why you guys didnt
contact us when you landed.

KRESS
Interferrence, weirdest thing, all we got was some loud hissing noise.

WALLACE (V.O)
Interferrence, did they set up any scramblers around he-

Wallaces voice is then cut off by massive static interferrence, followed by the same noise Kress was talking about.

KRESS
Shit, not again.

LOCKE
Whats Alphas current position?

KRESS
Near a guerilla base captain. They said theyd take care of it,
but all I got was static again. I swear they have scramblers
around here somewhere.

LOCKE
Its a possibility, afterall, these terrorists have more then well fortefied
this island to a full para-military base by now.

BRAD LOCKE, (36) tall, husky, brown slicked back hair, wearing splitter face paint, woodland camouflage, and an urban camo kevlar vest, slowly crouches in the jungle at the sight of a lone guerilla wandering the trail. He raises his right hand, and signals his team to take cover while he awaits in the bushes for the guerilla to walk by him.

The guerilla makes two steps past the bushes Locke was hiding in, and is dropped before he can take a single step further as Locke rams his hunting knife straight into the back of the guerillas neck. He then drags the Brazilian guerillas body into the bushes, and signals for his team to come out from cover.

KRESS
Shit! That damn hissing noise is getting worse!

LOCKE
Then turn off the radio for now.

KRESS
Fine.

LOCKE
Saiid, go scope out the trail, see if there are any more hostiles awaiting us.

ADONI
Yes sir.

INT. COLARES NORTHERN REGION - BRAZIL - AFTERNOON

SAIID ADONI, (28) dark skin, clean shaven, wearing urban camouflage and kevlar, tosses a grappling hook into the roof of a tree as he climbs up the massive tree above the majority of the jungle.

He climbs to the top branch of the tree and spots two guerilla tents North West of his current position.

ADONI
Captain, there are two enemy barrecks North West of
your current position. Take the North Eastern trail through
the vines to avoid detection.

LOCKE (V.O)
Copy that, Saiid, move out n-

Lockes transmission is suddenly cut off when suddenly Adonis radio begins to burn in his hand. Adoni drops his radio down the tree in pain, and clutches his hand in pain.

ADONI
Ah shit, what the hell was that about?

Adonis balance was steady, but his grip was starting to loosen. Adoni noticed this, and rose to his feet on the thick branch, ready to climb down, when suddenly he felt something rush past him, almost knocking him off of the branch.

ADONI
What was that?

Beginning to grow cautious, Adoni grasped the grappling rope tightly, and began to climb down, but immediately as he reached below the branch, Serpent dropped down from the top of the tree, and wrapped his legs around the branch as he dropped his body upside down on the branch as he grabbed Adoni climbing down and snatched him off of his rope.

SERPENT
What? Dont you want a better view
of the jungle?!

Frightened, Adoni began firing his assault rifle blindly in the air, catching the attention of his comrades. But Serpent had him hanging over the branch as he grabbed a single knife, and thrusted it in Adonis neck over and over and over again. Each time Serpent pulled his knife out of Adonis neck, massive amounts of blood poured down to the floor until he merely dropped Adonis body down to the ground as he flipped back to the top of the branch, and jumped to another tree, hidden within the vines.

Locke and the rest of Bravo came storming in the Northern section of the jungle, and spotted Adonis body covered in blood on the floor. Locke immediately ran for his comrade but saw the several stab wounds in his neck.

LOCKE
Shit! Kress! Radio HQ, tell them we got a man
down!

KRESS
Got it sir!

INT. PENTAGON COMMAND CENTER - WASHINGTON D.C. - AFTERNOON

Styles, Reynolds and Rhoemer all stare in shock at the sight of the video playing on the main screen of the attack three nights ago. Suddenly, the radio set for Bravo team begins to go off with Kress voice to be heard on the other end.

KRESS (V.O)
This is Bravo Radioman Kress here! Weve got a
man down. I repeat, we have a man down!

REYNOLDS
What?! What happened to him?

KRESS (V.O)
I...I dont know! It looked like he was stabbed, but he
has a massive gash on his skull, looks like he fell. How
could he have been stabbed so many times if he was on the-

But once again, static interferrence from an unknown force had cut Kress off.

REYNOLDS
Dammit....

RHOEMER
Do you think its that thing from the videos?

STYLES
Id bet my life on it.

RHOEMER
Goddammit!

REYNOLDS
We have to get them out of there!!

RHOEMER
Are you insane?!! We send our boys back here then
the terrorists still have the warheads!!

REYNOLDS
And if we dont, well just be sending our guys to die!!

STYLES
We dont have a choice. We cant take the chances of sending them back.
We do that, then like Joe said, well have left two nuclear warheads in the
hands of God knows what.

RHOEMER
Terrorists! I know they arent exactly...

REYNOLDS
Human?

RHOEMER
But the marines can handle it.

REYNOLDS
Are you an idiot?! You see these guys!! They killed
over 80 people in under an hour!

STYLES
But these arent the basic grunts we had stationed in Central
America. These soldiers were all personally trained by me. My
two best soldiers are there. I have faith in them.

REYNOLDS
Yes, we cant lose as long as we have them on the
island right? Thats why we already have a man down?!

RHOEMER
Casaulties are a part of war, maybe if you served in one instead of bitching
on the sidelines, maybe youd learn that.

REYNOLDS
Look, I know theyre very experienced soldiers,
but did you just see this? Rewind back to that glowing thing!
Now look! Those are nineteen trained men you have there! All
with M16s! Now, theyre all surrounding ONE MAN!! Okay?
Are you watching? Are you wat-

RHOEMER
Yes.

REYNOLDS
(Frantically)
Good!! Good!! Now this glowing thing, I THINK its a person!
Look at THIS!

Suddenly John Hunters face catches Styles eyes.

STYLES
Pause the tape.

REYNOLDS
What?

STYLES
Pause the tape!

Reynolds, a bit confused, as was Rhoemer, pauses the tape, right on the scene where Hunter turned around and showed his face.

STYLES
Hunter?

REYNOLDS
Who?

RHOEMER
Hold on hold on....JOHN Hunter? Gulf War
John Hunter?

STYLES
You be the judge!

RHOEMER
No...thats impossible! He was....and Callaway had said-

STYLES
Are you sure?

RHOEMER
Ask Dane himself.

REYNOLDS
(Angered)
Will someone tell me whats going on?!!

RHOEMER
John Hunter was a former U.S. Army lieutenant,
he was working with us-

STYLES
John Hunter was a graduate from the D.C. Marine academy.
He and Dane were two of my best students. Dane, Hunter, Rhoemer,
the three of them joined my academy around eleven years ago. I trained
all three of them to be some of the most outstanding soldiers this country
would ever see.

REYNOLDS
What happened? He defected?

RHOEMER
You could say that.

STYLES
It was two years ago, before you joined under the Pentagons
national security staff.

REYNOLDS
The Persian Gulf War?

STYLES
Exactly.

RHOEMER
Now, this was the last battle I ever served in. All three of us were
on the war zone, Grey, Wallace, Markinson and the others were
taking part of a separate recon mission. It was just us. We had
come across heavy fire. We were out numbered....our entire platoon
was wiped out almost instantly....Ill never forget it...

(FLASH BACK)

EXT. PERSIAN WAR ZONE - EVENING - TWO YEARS AGO

JOSEPH RHOEMER, (30) blonde hair shaved on the sides, cheek covered in blood, wearing desert camouflage, thick kevlar, a desert camo helmet, runs as fast as he can backwards, firing his M4 carbine into a crown of Persian soldiers. One persian soldier fires his AK in Rhoemers direction after being shot, only to nail Rhoemer right in the calf, knocking him down to the sand while he rolls on his back firing his rifle.

Suddenly, Callaway, (29) wearing identical gear, face covered in dirt, wearing goggles, a very thick beard, jumps down alongside Hunter, (28) black hair slicked back but sweaty, wearing desert face paint, and also wearing the same gear minus a helmet, runs towards Rhoemer tossing a grenade in the crowd of persian soldiers, blowing them right in the sky while Callaway lifts Rhoemer onto his shoulders, running off with him on his shoulders, all three firing their rifles from behind them.

Private BILLY ORTON, (22) desert camo, wearing a black mask along with desert goggles hollers Callaways name.

ORTON
(Shouting at the top of his lungs)
DANE! BEHIND YOU!

Callaway, waisting no time, turns around, and fires his frag barrell attachment, blowing the three soldiers behind him to pieces of ash while he continued to run for the base with Rhoemer on his shoulders. Orton soon followed firing his gun behind him.

ORTON
Vicks and delta have been wiped out! Captain Marins is
dead, along with the rest of my unit. Our choppers been
blown to bits!! Our only chance is to take the underground
tunnels in the base!

CALLAWAY
Shit! I cant see anything! How far are we
from the base?

ORTON
100 yards south of our current posit-

Ortons sentence is cut short when a bomb shell explodes only a few yards behind the three soldiers, knocking Callaway and Rhoemer down on contact. Callaway quickly rises back to his feet and finds Ortons body smoldering in the sand. Not even being given an opportunity to say another word, Callaway runs for Rhoemer and picks him back up.

After running a few minutes longer, Callaway drops Rhoemer down in the center of their base, in an underground tunnel. Just then, Callaway realizes that Hunter is nowhere to be seen.

CALLAWAY
Wheres Hunter?!

RHOEMER
(In pain)
He was right behind us wasnt he?!

CALLAWAY
I couldnt see anything past the point where we saw Orton.
You gonna manage by yourself?

RHOEMER
Ill try, wait, where are you going?!

CALLAWAY
Im gonna go find Hunter! Just head south, theres a
bunker you can wait in until everything settles down.

(Ends Flash back)

RHOEMER
Dane said he found Hunters body with dozens of bullets
and parts of shrapenal lodged in his chest.

REYNOLDS
Youre telling me that he was dead when Dane
found him?

RHOEMER
Only Dane knows, but Id say yes.

STYLES
Hunter is a former SEAL lieutenant, hes obviously part of
something bigger then just two nuclear warheads. What he has
planned is beyond me. Im not entirely sure that launching two
warheads on U.S. soil are his ultimate goals. Hes an American,
he knows how the U.S. responds to a nuclear attack.

REYNOLDS
Are you sure its not just mindless terrorism?

STYLES
Hunters too smart a man to pull that off.

RHOEMER
Do you think hes being backed by another country?

STYLES
Reynolds, have a full background check done on Hunter now!
This is an attack set to start a war, and no group of people
can start a war.

REYNOLDS
Yes sir.

Reynolds then heads down to C.T.U. while Rhoemer looks past the door, and begins to unplug the cameras.

RHOEMER
What do you think?

STYLES
What?

RHOEMER
You think he suspects anything?

STYLES
Of course. The little boyscout doesnt know when
to quit.

RHOEMER
No, about us.

STYLES
He can have all the doubts and suspicisions he wants,
but it wont matter, because Hunters files all trace back to
the U.S. In the end of it all, the only person Reynolds and
CTU are going to suspect is President Gordon.

RHOEMER
And Dane?

STYLES
He and his men are not to leave that island alive.
Hunter and his men know their what their mission is.
Arsenals continuing to keep us informed about the test
results along with the rest of the agency.

RHOEMER
What do we do after the marines are dealt with?

STYLES
We overlook the threat of Nuclear waste from the warheads polluting
the Atlantic Ocean, and we send a bomb raid to Colares. Arsenals
extracted from the island before we take care of the marines, and
he sends our data back to the alliance. We tell them that GES is
a success, and start the international mass expansion of GES.

RHOEMER
Once this little project comes to an end, no one will ever be able to stop us.

INT. GUERILLA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

An old wooden bunker stands with two turret guns on sandbag patches surrounded with barbed wire stand in front of the trail entrance. Twelve Brazilian Guerillas, all armed with Ak-47’s, wearing urban camo, all unshaven surround their base.

Callaway and his team begin to surround the guerilla camp grounds. Grey crouches behind bushes near a single guerilla.

CALLAWAY (V.O)
On my signal, we move in.

GREY
(Into radio)
Copy that, Dane.

Grey begins to grasp the handle of his knife from his vest tightly as he rolls outside of the bushes, and behind a wooden barrel as the guerilla continues to scout the area.

CALLAWAY (V.O)
Now!

Grey runs from behind the barrel and grabs the guerilla by the neck. He then pulls out his knife straight from his vest, and thrusts it directly into the guerillas chest, placing his palm over ther guerillas mouth.

He then drops the guerilla, puts his knife back in his knife holster, and reaches for his M4 on his back as he runs behind the wooden base, and signals to his left.

As Grey signals, Markinson and Wallace run from the jungle and into the camp grounds.

JOHNNY MARKINSON, (27) blonde, short hair slicked back, wearing olive drab camo grabs his assault rifle, and rifle butts a second guerilla to his north while Wallace grabs two ropes, and ties up the guerillas arms and legs.

Grey then rendevues with Markinson and Wallace. The three head south of the camp grounds and find four more sentries posted patrolling the area.

EXT. GUERILLA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

TYRESE LASHLEY, (24) black, shaved black hair covered in a red bandana, wearing a sleeveless olive drab vest and splitter camo slowly climbs up a small dirt hill, scoping the guerilla camp through the scope of his sniper rifle.

LASHLEY
(To himself)
Aite ya bitches, time to die.

His hands are steady as his itchy finger wavers over the trigger. He spots a single guerilla and fires once. One shot to the head and the guerilla is down. A second guerilla approaches his fallen comrade shocked. A second bullet fired, and he’s down with a bullet in his head alongside his comrade.

LASHLEY
(Into his radio)
Yo Dane, the guerilla base’s entrance is clear,
go do yo thing man.

CALLAWAY (V.O)
Copy that Lashley, remain at your post
until I say otherwise.

INT. GUERILLA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

CALLAWAY
Okay, Paige, Lee, you two come with me.
Sanchez and Wright, you two secure the
exterior with Lashley. Miller, you set up claymores
on their little road.

MILLER
Yes sir.

Callaway, Paige and Lee head into the guerilla camp. Callaway spots two guerillas armed with M16’s, the two guerillas spot him. Both open fire at Callaway, but Callaway runs behind a small supply frate while the guerillas shoot at the frate. Chunks of the wooden frate fly right off as the bullets continue to fly at Callaway.

CALLAWAY
You guys should’ve stayed home.

Callaway waits to hear the sound of the empty clips of the guerillas, and then rolls away from the frate, and launches a single frag from his M4 between the two guerillas, sending their flame covered bodies in the air.

GREY
(Out of breath)
Dane, you okay?

CALLAWAY
Yeah, my vest caught the bullets that didn’t miss,
so I’m just fine.

GREY
Glad to hear it.

CALLAWAY
(Into radio)
Jack, how are the claymores coming along?

EXT. GUERILLA CAMP GATES - COLARES - AFTERNOON

JACK MILLER, (30) a gruff individual sporting a black beard, urban camo, and a black kevlar vest finishes up activating two small claymores.

MILLER
(Wipes sweat off of forehead)
Perfect...

Miller covers the claymores with enough moss and artificial dirt that they have become invisible to the naked eye. He runs off and hides behind one of the sandbag patches facing straight ahead of the gate, as he awaits any re-enforcements arriving.

INT. GUERILLA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

Lee and Paige continue to search the interior camp grounds of the guerilla base while Dane, Grey, Wallace, and Markinson enter the wooden radio station in the center of the base.

Lee then slowly stalks around the dirt floor of the inner walls of the camp grounds. He holds his rifle steady as sweat trickles from his face to the dirt.

His eyes shift left and right as he begins to feel as if he is being watched. Suddenly dozens of leafs from a tree hanging inside the guerilla camp from outside of the walls fall down as Lee instantly turns around behind him as he looks up in the trees.

Lee aims his rifle at the top branches, unable to see the being clutching on the branches. When Paige calls for Lee.

PAIGE
(Shouting)
Evan! Come quick! You gotta see this!

Lee merely stares at the branches still suspicious, but then nods his head and runs to Paige’s position.

EXT. GUERILLA CAMP WALLS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

Serpent drops down from the branches and runs towards the east, meeting O’Rourke and Decimator.

SERPENT
They found our munitions.

O’ROURKE
Those bloody Brazilians can’t do ANYTHING right,
can they?

DECIMATOR
(Speaking in a very low, muffled tone)
Does it really matter?

O’ROURKE
No, but now they might suspect where we
got the weapons.

ARSENAL (V.O)
O’Rourke, what’s your status?

O’ROURKE
(Into radio)
Alpha Team discovered our munitions station and
already took out the guerillas guarding them. But
Decimator’s going to keep an eye on them so their
radios don’t pick up any signals.

ARSENAL (V.O)
Fine, just hurry back to Bravo Team and finish them off.
Our agents inside have already told us that Bravo’s 10 miles
away from our silo.

O’ROURKE
Fine, we’ll take care of them.

ARSENAL (V.O)
Hurry it up then.

INT. GUERILLA CAMP GROUNDS - COLARES - AFTERNOON

Lee runs back to Paige who is standing in front of a munitions truck filled with wooden frates. ALAN PAIGE, (21) very youthful, buzz cut short brown hair, muscular wearing splitter camo breaks one of the frates open, revealing black body armor, more advanced then the Marine teams themselves. In the second frate Paige opens, are several RPG rocket launchers, chaff grenades, M67’s, grenade launchers, and frag attachments.

LEE
What the hell is all of this?

PAIGE
It looks like a munitions dump.

LEE
But it’s all far too advanced to be guerilla gear.

PAIGE
Exactly, that’s why I called you. It was already established
that the terrorists are working with the guerillas on this
base. But where’d the terrorists get such advanced equipment?

LEE
Better radio HQ.

PAIGE
Good point, let’s go get Mike.

INT. RADIO STATION - COLARES - AFTERNOON

Callaway and the others search the radio station. The floor is covered in papers, all written in Portegues, the building itself is dark, hot, filled with radio equipment.

WALLACE
Damn, this place looks like C.T.U.

CALLAWAY
You’re right, where are terrorists getting the equipment
to give the guerillas such high quality gear. Most
guerilla camps we raid have the old radio gear, and is
usually underground or in a tent, look at this place.

GREY
Hey guys, something’s printing from their fax machine.

The four then surround the fax machine as what appears to be a note, written in Portegues folds up from on top of the fax.

CALLAWAY
Any of you guys read Portegues?

The three nod negatively. Callaway smirks and attempts to radio for Andre, but his radio gets nothing but a dead signal.

CALLAWAY
What the hell? There should be SOME sort of signal
in here, I’m in the radio station. Dammit, oh well, you
guys keep looking around in here, I’m gonna go show this
fax to Sanchez.

Callaway then rips off the fax as the other three continue to look around inside of the building. Upon leaving, Callaway spots Andre Sanchez searching the camp along side John Wright.

CALLAWAY
Sanchez, come here for a minute, I need you to
translate what’s on this fax for me.

SANCHEZ
Sure thing sir.

ANDRE SANCHEZ, (23) Brazilian, sporting a five o’clock shadow, wearing olive drab camo and a black bandana walks towards Callaway as John Wright follows.

Sanchez then takes the fax and starts to read the fax, when suddenly, a concerned expression grows over Andre’s face.

CALLAWAY
What does it say?

SANCHEZ
It says, “I hope you boys enjoy the taste of victory while
you can, because when we come for you, rest assured,
all you will be tasting are bullets.” Dane, this is a message
for us.

CALLAWAY
What?

SANCHEZ
Yeah, it reads on. “And I promise you, by the time you
finish up searching this camp ground, your Bravo Team
will be completely wiped out. But don’t worry, we’ll save you
for last.”

CALLAWAY
We’re being watched, dammit, let’s get moving. We have to
find Bravo before-

Callaway is then cut short as the sound of an explosion floods the ears of the marines. Callaway and the others soon run towards the sound of the explosion.

INT. NORTHERN TRAIL - COLARES - AFTERNOON

Locke and his team continue up a small mountain trail. Locke pulls out his binoculars, and finds a massive silo protected by massive concrete walls. On top of the walls are wired fences, and on each corner lie four composite towers fitted with spotlights, turret guns, and two armed sentries per composite tower.

LOCKE
Okay, I see the silo around eight miles North.
Whatever you do, guys, make sure you don’t split
up. I still don’t know what happened to Saiid, I don’t
want that to happen to any of us.

BARNES
Kress, radio Alpha Team, and tell them we
found the silo.

KRESS
Yes sir.

Kress takes his radio off of his backpack, and clicks to Michael’s frequency. But as he attempts to radio for Michael, his radio responds with the “Frequency cannot be reached” phase.

KRESS
Great, sir, they’ve got some sort of interferrence.
I can’t reach them.

LOCKE
Great! Well, I guess we have to head down there ourselves.

BARNES
Or we can wait for Alpha Team.

CONNELLY
(Raising his voice)
We wait we die Barnes!

BARNES
(Slightly angered)
And what about them? What if whatever killed Saiid
comes after them huh? Then what? Better them then us?
I don’t think so!

CONNELLY
(Infuriated)
You know what? When you start thinking with
your head out of your ass, maybe you can
figure out that whatever killed the marines in Central
America are coming for us too!

BARNES
(Offended)
You listen here-

CONNELLY
No, YOU listen here! Those freaks killed over
EIGHTY marines, and I don’t intend on being alongside
those guys! We stay and wait for the others, then we’re
dead! I say screw that! We move forward and stop wasting time!

BARNES
(Pissed off)
You piece of shit! All you care about is YOURSELF!
If these freaks are after us, then they’re after the rest of
the team! I’m not going to let them kill us one by one
when we need to be together! So shut up and just-

LOCKE
(Forcefully)
ENOUGH! Both of you knock it off NOW! The last thing
any of us need is to deal with you two bickering, and you
will stop that RIGHT NOW is that clear?

BARNES
(Slightly annoyed)
Yes sir...

CONNELLY
(With a sarcastic tone)
Yeah, yeah...

LOCKE
(Regaining his cool)
Now look, I know this situation is getting rough,
but we need to keep our heads together. Unfortunately,
Connelly is right, we can’t just stick around, but I’m
not leaving Dane and the others behind.

CONNELLY
Okay, so where does that leave us?

LOCKE
Carlo, since Saiid’s dead, you will take Betters and Stevens
with you, and the three of you will head north. When you
can confirm that we’re clear, radio back, and we’ll head to
your position. Kress, you keep trying to contact Alpha Team.

KRESS
Yes sir.

LOCKE
And Kane, you set up traps around the parimeter just in case
our attackers return.

KANE
Yes sir.

Kane begins to set up explosives all around the parimeter while Carlo, Stevens and Betters head north towards the silo.

EXT. CENTRAL TRAIL - COLARES - EVENING

CARLO SANTINI, (27) long brown hair, wearing brown camo, with his sleeves pulled up, revealing muscular slightly hairy arms with grappling gloves starts to wipe his face as he begins to grow depressed.

CARLO
(Saddened)
Damn, I still can’t believe Saiid’s gone...

BETTERS
I know, he was a good man.

CARLO
I mean, he was always so tough, such a good
soldier, what could’ve done that to him? I mean,
do you guys think we’re next?

STEVENS
Just try not to think about it so much.

CARLO
Yeah, you’re right.

About five minutes past, and the three find no enemies along the way. So Carlo, Stevens and Betters head report back to Locke.

CARLO
(Into radio)
Sir, it’s Santini, so signs of any enemy forces
have been detected along this route.

LOCKE
(V.O)
Copy that, stay within your current position, we’ll be there
in a few minutes.

CARLO
Yes sir.

Carlo and Betters continue to wait patiently for the rest of Bravo to meet up with them, while Stevens continues to pace around impatiently. As he paces, he spots the body of a soldier lying in the bushes covered in blood.

STEVENS
(Concerned)
What the...?

INT. COLARES NORTH WESTERN JUNGLE - COLARES - EVENING

JORDAN STEVENS, (34) blonde, wearing full body armor, urban camo, armed with an Mp5, runs towards the body. As he approaches the body, he checks the pulse and feels nothing.
But as he turns the body around, he jumps back horrified at the sight of the hideously scarred face of the body.

But Stevens screaming is suddenly cut short as a small knife is tossed right through Stevens mouth. The handle remains sticking outside of Stevens mouth as blood begins to run down Stevens mouth and the back of his head where the blade is clearly sticking out of.

As Stevens falls to the ground, eyes and mouth wide open, the bodies eyes open, revealing a red glow, as he slowly rises to his feet, and puts a ski mask back on his face while O’Rourke approaches him from behind.

SERPENT
(Wiping blood from his vest)
This’ll be even easier then our Central America
attack.

O’ROURKE
(Admiring long hunting knife)
Pity, I could’ve used a good challenge. Oh well,
let’s take care of these blokes.

EXT. CENTRAL TRAIL - COLARES - EVENING

CARLO
(Impatiently)
Where the hell is Stevens?

BETTERS
I don’t know, he was just pacing around here a second ago.

CARLO
Ah he probably went to take a piss or something.

Carlo continues to wait for the rest of Bravo when suddenly Betters spots Serpent approach them from the jungle with blood smeered all over his vest.

BETTERS
(Frightened)
What the hell...?

Betters slowly reaches for his sniper rifle but as he looks into the scope, Serpent’s eye is glaring right into the scope from the other end as Betters screams and falls to the ground to find Serpent standing right before him.

SERPENT
PEAK-A-BOO!

Serpent pulls out three knives in his right hand when Carlo runs towards him and swings his hunting knife right at Serpent. Serpent, however, instantly spots Carlo, and catches his wrist as he jumps in the air and drop kicks Carlo in the chest, sending him back six feet before landing on the ground with a loud thud.

As Serpent’s attention is on Carlo, Betters rises to his feet and fires his gun at Serpent. But Serpent uses the knives in his hands to deflect all the bullets fired at him. Betters had unloaded a full clip, but hit nothing. He then tries to reload his assault rifle, but a single knife is thrusted into his shoulder, hitting an artery as blood squirts out of his shoulder.

Betters then falls to his knees clutching the knife in his shoulder for dear life as Serpent instantly appears before him in a flash, holding a remaining two knives.

SERPENT
Aww, too bad.

Suddenly, Serpent feels the calibur of a .44 mm press against the back of his head. He slowly turns his head, and spots Carlo pointing the gun at Serpent from point blank, ready to blow Serpent’s head off.

CARLO
(Enraged)
Yeah, too bad for YOU!

Right before Carlo could pull the trigger, a massive blade pierces his chest, as his mouth opens wide, as he drops his gun. Betters stares at Carlo in horror as his feet are slowly lifted off the ground, as O’Rourke reveals himself from behind Carlo. He slowly lifts Carlo’s body in the air, as he pulls Carlo’s body off of his hunting knife, and tosses him aside.

Betters begins to cry for fear of his life as he stares up back as Serpent looking down at him in amusement.

BETTERS
(Beginning to cry)
Why are you doing this?!

SERPENT
Why not just ask your superiors?

BETTERS
(Confused and scared)
W-what do you mean?

SERPENT
Oh don’t worry, you’ll be at peace soon
enough.

Betters merely lowers his head, crying profusely as Serpent thrusts a single knife in the back of Betters’ neck. An expression of anguish and pain overwelms Betters’ face before he falls face first in the dirt.

Just then, Locke and the rest of Bravo team spot the bodies of their comrades, and come running down the small hill.

LOCKE
What the hell?!

CONNELLY
Didn’t I warn you guys?! They’re coming
for us!

LOCKE
Where are you?! Come on out and face
us now!

BARNES
It won’t show up.

MCNEIL
(Examining bodies)
It looks like blade wounds, knives if I were to
guess. But how could a soldier armed with knives
take down three soldiers armed with automatics?

LOCKE
(Furious)
I don’t know, but let’s say we find out,
shall we?

Locke continues to call out the unknown attackers.

LOCKE
(Shouting)
What’s the matter?! Can’t you attack someone
face to face?! You’ve taken my men! Come out
here and take me you son of a bitch! FIGHT
ME!

Suddenly, Serpent appears before Locke in the blink of an eye, and slashes his arm wide open, sending him down to the ground.

LOCKE
(In pain)
Dammit! Shoot him now!

Locke pulls out his hand gun and starts shooting at Serpent. Serpent takes out two knives, and deflects all bullets fired at him.

MCNEIL
Eat this!

McNeil tosses a blast grenade at Serpent while Locke rolls out of the way. But O’Rourke catches the blast grenade in the palm of his and clutches it as it explodes in his hand, ripping the flesh from O’Rourke’s hand clean off.

He merely stares down at his now metallic hand, and sends a straight palm slam to McNeil’s kevlar covered chest, sending him flying. The sound of McNeil’s chest cabinet shattering on contact with O’Rourke’s palm echoes through the ears of everyone within the area as McNeil is sent back first into a tree, falling down dead.

CONNELLY
(Frightened)
Screw this!

Connelly attempts to run, he doesn’t make it very far.

Serpent tosses five knives at the same time right into Connelly’s back, sending him straight the dirt covered floor face first, eyes wide open.

Barnes then grabs Locke by the shoulder, and attempts to run off, firing his Mp5 from behind him. O’Rourke quickly follows, with the bullets deflecting off of his body.

O’ROURKE
Silly Americans.

One thrust, and O’Rourke nails his hunting knife right into Barnes’ stomach, following that up by pulling Barnes towards himself, and tossing him into the bushes as he grabs the wounded Locke by the neck, tossing him before Serpent.

LOCKE
(Breathing heavy)
You can kill me, but just remember this,
people like you always get theirs. I PROMISE
you both that neither of you are an acception!

O’ROURKE
(Amused)
Oh really, and who’s going to do us in, mate?
That bloke Callaway and his men?

LOCKE
(Confused)
W-what? How do you know who Dane and
the others are?

O’ROURKE
We aint exactly your run of the gun terrorists,
mate.

LOCKE
No, you’re right, all you and your men are pieces
of scum, all of your kind are! And scum always ends
up wiped out. Just remember that...

O’ROURKE
(Humored)
Whatever you say, mate, so long.

With his torn up metallic hand, O’Rourke grabs Locke by his throat, and lifts him off of the ground, strangling him. Locke’s face begins to grow purple as he gasps for air. Instead, O’Rourke clutches his hand tighter, allowing all to hear a massive crushing sound, as blood begins to run down Locke’s mouth, with his eyes rolling in the back of his head.

O’Rourke then drops his body, and wraps up his hand in bandages as he approaches KRESS and Kane.

KRESS
(Relieved)
About time.

O’ROURKE
Shut it. Do you have a location on
Alpha Team?

KRESS
Last I checked, they were still near the guerilla camp
grounds.

O’ROURKE
Fine, you and that bloke over there are gonna go
find them. Tell them that your team was wiped out,
and that you and Kane are the only two survivors
from Bravo Team.

KRESS
Won’t they get suspicious of how a radioman and
a demolition expert survive while the elite commandos
didn’t?

O’ROURKE
Just tell them you were searching for a better signal and
that Kane was setting up claymores while the attack happened.
When you two saw what was happening, you ran for help.

KRESS
Perfect.

O’ROURKE
Just don’t screw up. You were lucky that you weren’t
caught sabatoging everyone’s gear, you don’t get lucky
twice. Make it look real.

KRESS
No problem.
