Hey FFShrine, I know I'm not exactly tenured here so I apologize if this comes across as an advertisement, but I've been trying to drum up some interest in an on-going collaborative writing project. The interactive story scene's been kind of dead lately (haven't FFShrine-sized forums in general been?) and we're down to six committed writers, so I'm trying to expand things a bit.

Our story started in 1997 and has seen 34 different authors over the years. We'll be starting the 12th installment of it pretty soon. The setting is a sort of post-apocalyptic earth that blends fantasy, sci-fi, and superhero plotlines. Very little background information is needed to participate. We have a host forum at the moment but would be more than willing to hold the next installment on FFShrine if there is sufficient interest here. There are no participation requirements; authors need not post often or actively engage in an installment's main plot. A brief synopsis is maintained of the active installment so that authors don't need to read every post if they get behind.

Before I go into detail about it, I'm curious to see if there is any remote interest in such a project within the FFShrine community.

Nice, glad to see someone might be interested. Do you have any particular questions? I'll post something thorough up closer to the next installment's launch date (tentatively early to mid May), but I'd be happy to give as many details as you like in the meantime.

For whatever it's worth, this project is set to launch next weekend, some time between the 14th and the 16th.
